Las Vegas Convention Registration and Event Passes: What to Know
Understand official event registration, badges, exhibitor credentials, ID requirements, transfers and avoiding fake convention pass sellers.
Convention registration is event-specific
There is no universal Las Vegas Convention Center admission pass. Individual event organizers control registration, pricing, badge eligibility, cancellation terms and entry conditions. Always start from the event’s official website.
Attendee, exhibitor, press and speaker badges
Different credentials may grant different access. An exhibit-hall pass may not include paid conference sessions, networking events or workshops. Exhibitor badges may be managed through a company coordinator, while press accreditation often has separate eligibility requirements.
Before purchasing or registering
Verify the event name, dates, venue, registration deadline, refund policy, eligibility and what the pass includes. Check whether onsite registration is offered and whether prices change closer to the event.
Badge pickup and check-in
Save your registration confirmation and the organizer’s badge pickup location. Some events provide mailed badges, QR codes or onsite printing; others require photo identification. Do not assume the same process applies to every show.
Avoid fraudulent pass offers
Use official organizer links rather than unsolicited emails, lookalike domains or third-party sellers claiming guaranteed access. If an offer seems suspicious, contact the organizer using the contact details published on its official website.
Day-of-event checklist
Bring your confirmation, required identification, the correct hall and entrance, session tickets where applicable and a charged phone. Check the organizer’s bag policy and accessibility accommodations before departure.
